My Superpower

My Superpower

My superpower is strength and

     endurance  – not just my own, but

     that of all women warriors who…

Speak out for the disenfranchised

Fight for justice

Give solace to those who suffer

And regain their strength through

     meditation and prayer.

I see this superpower in my dear friends

     as they endure illness, pain and

     the hardships faced by their families.

And I see this superpower in me, as I

     pick myself up from yet another

     challenge, brush myself off, and start again.
